This is maybe the most spectacular hidden gem in the entire snare drum catalogue, as this is a Masters Maple Reserve at half the price (or even less).
It has the same shell configuration, same hoops, same throw-off, has the STL100 lugs instead of STL tube lugs (which still are the same series) and even has the better high-end snare wires SN-1420D compared to the mediocre S-022 ones on the Masters Maple Reserve.
If you can live with the 1 available color per size, get one … as a matter of fact, just get one, they will become very sought-after once they are sold-out.

Hatte mir schon vor ca. 2 Jahren die 6,5er Version besorgt welche an einem meiner Proberaumsets im Einsatz ist - habe also nicht die Katze im Sack gekauft - und bin nicht enttäuscht worden : Optisch ansprechend, gut verarbeitet, das Holz scheint wirklich North American Maple zu sein, sehr guter Snareteppich.....u.s.w. Die Snare hat einen schönen warmen , unaufdringlichen Sound mit viel Body , einer top Teppichansprache und einer guten tuning range. Die Heads sind US -REMOS. Der Preis ist absolut fair. Die Taiwanesen haben ihren Job mal wieder gut gemacht u. Musikhaus Thomann natürlich auch: Von mir gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung !!!!!
