NO BATTERY SENT
Anonymous 01.03.2022
Hi Mensch!

I want sent the battery and I've seen other reviews where people didn't. This isn't a big issue but if you promise something, you should deliver.

Overall, I love the guitar and the previous one I bought from you and love your ethic and service. Just slightly disappointed at this lack of attention to detail.

Cheers

Dave

Works as it should

Well, it works as it should, a good long lusting 9v battery. From my perspective, it operates at approximately the same time as it's more costly counterparts and makes the job done.

The only minus for me (happened only once, but made me kinda nervous and I think I should mention it) happened when it started to get hot and puff up. Not sure whether it was my fault or it was misfunctioned, but it was an unpleasant surprise.

Still, it happened only once and all other batteries work like a charm. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is one tight budget or just don't want to spend a lot of money on more costly batteries.

Not much longevity
Edgar Blackdagger 06.12.2020
I've bought several of these, I've put them on pedals and on my active bass, the truth is they don't last much, about 60% the time an "Energizer" lasts and they die quite slowly (that's not the way most Alkaline batteries work) so my bass started sounding weaker and softer so gradually that I wasn't sure if it was all in my head, it had to, because the battery was only 3 months in the bass.
So I went and bought new strings and that's when I realized it was the battery...

So, for me yes, it seems like a cheap alternative but I'd need twice as many, so it's actually not that cheap, plus I can't rely on these with the way they die.
I now use them for starving the power input of analog pedals for certain sounds on recordings.

Was very suprised the see the Thomann name on the battery. I think it looks pretty cool and I'm going to hate to dispose of it once I need to get a new one lol.
