die MetroLines werden seit 2020 bei Warwick in Deutschland gefertigt. Dennoch handelt es sich um echte Sadowskys, sie haben nichts mit den Warwick-Modellen zu tun.
Der Vintage 5-String mit 24 Bünden liegt hervorragend in der Hand und klingt prima, hat ja schließlich auch die Original Sadowsky-Elektronik. Er ist allerdings mit 4 kg etwas schwerer als die Limited Edition Variante (3,8 kg).
Im Vergleich zu den früheren MetroLines aus Japan, die dort in einer kleinen Manufaktur von Hand gefertigt wurden, ist die (Massen-) Verarbeitung aber nicht ganz so gut. Die Bundstäbchen sind an den Kanten nicht so gut geschliffen und die Potis fühlen sich etwas "billig" an. Ansonsten ist der Bass mit den 24 Bünden, die für meinen Einsatz sehr angenehm sind, aber ganz ordentlich, mit sehr gute Saitenlage und Oktavreinheit. Das Salbei Grün des Bodys ist außergewöhnlich, aber sehr schön.

Ich musste das Griffbrett abrichten lassen. Das sollte eigentlich bei einem fast 3000€ teuren Bass nicht sein.

Ansonsten ein toller Bass!!!!
