Works very well
Arktouros 23.04.2020
I am using it to send sound to two Yamaha HS 5 monitor speakers for video editing.
It works very well! The sound is very good.
My laptop sometimes needs it to be unplugged and plugged back in when I have it on a USB hub. But that is probably my laptop I think. I have made a testing recording for a voice over and it worked fine.

Great portable interface
Szymon 17.04.2018
I bought this interface to replace my Apollo One interface which I have sold due to the fact the breakout cable started falling apart and there was no dedicated monitor outputs.
Obviously there is a big differnece in price between Rode and Apollo but I must say I didn't expect this little Rode to be so good. First thing you notice when you hold it is the amazing build quality (I didn't know it's made in Australia) All solid metal enclousure! Another thing which suprised me is the weight of this little thing, it's much heavier than you may think which for me is a big adventage. Two plastic knobs feel very solid as well. Simply it's build like a tank. Bus powered with USB C cable (Good for new MBP users like me)
When it comes to actual sound quality I would rate it 4/5 just because monitor outputs are not giving me enough output to feed my studio monitors properly (Adam T7V)
Alternatively you can use headphone output which seems to be "louder". Other than that it's a amazing interface espescialy for the money. Highly recommended!

All-in-all is a good device. Plug'n play on Windows and Linux, low noise, easy-to-use controls, small footprint.

On the downside: when powering on the headphone output is not muted, so it starts with a thump, which is quite unpleasent.

With my Rode Procaster could not produce enough gain to use it for e.g. Skype without postprocessing. So both on Windows and Ubuntu I use
extra tools for additional gain (Equalizer APO, pvaucontrol).

A quality interface with great sound
damondimento78 11.08.2020
Bought for "on the go" recording.

The interface is tiny. It's significantly smaller than the Behringer UMC 202HD which I use for dual microphone set up. This is a good thing for me, I like to minimise gear and fuss.

Built like a tank with metal housing
Smooth controls
Sounds great- I use with primarily dynamic mics for podcasting (Rode Podmic, Rode M1). Although you need to push the gain almost to the max, the noise levels are very low at least for my purposes (I'm not an engineer).

Highly recommended
