Bin ein Rampone Fan und habe auch ein Alto und auch ein Tenor.
Bei der Suche nach einem Sopran Sax bin ich bei diesem hängen geblieben, da der Schalltrichter leicht nach vorn gewölbt ist und der Schall somit nicht, wie bei den geraden Varianten, auf den Boden trifft sondern besser nach vorn projiziert wird.
Daher lässt ich das Saxello wesentlich entspannter halten und es fühlt sich von der Haltung für ein Sopran Sax kaum anders an als ein Alto Sax etc.
Ich spiele es mit einem Selmer Concept Mundstück. Bei einem Sopran funktioniert ein klassisches Mundstück besser und die großen Bahnöffnungen der Alto oder Tenore scheinen hier nicht so angebracht zu sein.
Klang ist super festlich, vielschichtig und in viele Richtungen formbar.
Ein Sopran Sax das man feiern kann mit einer tollen Vintage Optik.
