U do not need the basic module. U need a Superior Drummer 3.
Vitaliy K. 12.12.2021
Insane kit! Fow less than a 500 euros you receive all what you need to practice. Only one flaw - HH does not have a bell\edge 2 triggers. has only one.

Original module is OK, but when kit connected to PC with MIDI, so they unveil this strenght,
This kit need a manual setup their sensivity etc, do not expect a good sound from the box. But when you found your own settings - it will shine.

Anything better than this kit would cost a 1000+ euros and more, and only for 1500+ euro you will receive features like 2-3 zone HiHat and multizone snare.
So MPS-750X are best in slot for all non-professional drummers!

AC
Very many options for reasonable price
Alex Corghencea 05.11.2020
Use
Home use for training and intend to record drum tracks on PC. Now I'm working on MIDI connection to PC to connect to VST drums plugin.

Pro:
I really like the sensibility on snare and toms, it has range and starts with at very low hits surprisingly, very natural.
Separated hihat and kick drum feels like acoustic set which is perfect for a beginner.
All mesh pads are 2 zoned and also the cymbals. The ride has 3 different sounds.
Construction is ok, its stable.
Assembly was fun :) Everything makes sense.
Playability is very similar to a beginner acoustic set.
Pads are ok by size and also the cymbals.
Also included metronome and track are nice feature.

Cons:
Sensibility on hihat is ok, but on low hits has no trigger.
Sounds in module are poor but does the job for training and for play along with songs.
Has a Bluetooth feature but not for BT headphones which is a bit sad, it has some feature to connect phone but didn't tried it yet.
Cant figure out how to setup MIDI connection to PC, device appears but is not identified in DAW, requires some more research and troubleshooting, maybe I'm missing something.

Conclusion:
I have them for 2 days and I am delighted. Fun to play. They look amazing, look like grownup and not a kid setup and feels quality. Hope I will figure out MIDI connection. Cant wait to hear in VST with huge sample libraries.

I use this drum for some silent recording in the bedroom. I'm a acoustic player, and still play acoustic drums, but i use this one for some silent playing, reheasing, practice.

The setup was pretty straight forward. had it setup in about 40 minutes. The hardware is descent, but the triggers are a bit below what i expected. Sensitivity is not that great on the pads, same with the cymbals, and the trigger for the hi hat isn't great either. You can work around lots of these issues by adapting your playing, and when recording to midi you can edit the errors in the recording, however, this takes up some time that could be spent on other things.

For beginners however, this is great. It's cheap, doesn't make too much noise, you have bluetooth for pairing with your phone, the built in sounds are "ok" for practice.

So in conclusion, for the money, it's a great kit. Will a kit that's double as expensive be double as good, it probably will be, but does everybody need it, no.

If you want to start drumming and do some light recording, this is great if you're willing to spend the time to correct your recordings and tune every skin to your preference. I consider this good value for money.

Perfect for complete beginners, but lacks dynamics.
MiriamK94 22.11.2020
I have practised on this kit in my apartment for two weeks, then I've decided to send it back. Here's why.
I guess if you're starting out on the drums or if you're playing genres which don't require a lot of dynamic variations, this set would be perfect for you. However, I found the sounds too artificial and the response to hits not very precise.
Of course, for the price maybe it's to ambitious to ask for perfect pad response and a high dynamic range, but sometimes, even the toms didn't really produce any sound even after a regular single downstroke -accented- . I have also noticed that the triggers on the toms lack precision if you're playing too fast.
As far as the sound is concerned, I think it's a matter of taste: I have started playing the drums on an acoustic set, so that's the sound I'm used to. I've found this module to contain a wide variety of sounds, but they somewhat lacked 'depth' to me.
All in all, the Millenium MPS-750X is a good kit for beginners, but going back I would have spend a bit more and bought a Roland model.

Excellent Kit
Wonky Donkey 28.10.2020
Got back into drumming after 35 years. Prior to purchasing I had a lot of correspondence with the drum department at Thomann, they responded within a few minutes or first thing in the morning if it was after hours. I was concerned before purchasing about the packaging, I didn't have to worry, everything was securely packaged.
The kit arrived from Germany to Ireland (during lockdown) in 5 days.
This kit is excellent, I got the bundle, Throne, Headphones, extra sticks & an Irish Euro plug adapter included.
Absolutely nothing else is required. The Bluetooth addition in the module is phenomenal. So many preloaded kits to choose from and build your own. The response from the mesh heads is just like acoustic kits.
Would I purchase from Thomann again ??
ABSOLUTELY.
I'm currently looking on Thomann.de to see what I will use the two extra trigger inputs for.
Stay safe

Worked only one week
Andrzej G. 26.11.2020
After one week of playing I decided to write Tmomann about sound quality problems. Rims reaction is wrong (non repetitive) and propably it's a software problem. 4275 firmware update is expected :) But just after this, the module stoped work.
Now I'm waiting for replacement.
Anyway, In my opinion mechanical components are very good for this price. Module is "full of options" but poor quality. Mixer "potentiometers" are diffucult to use. Automatic crosstalk sensing/calculation works not too good. And worse - error in rims sound calculations. Hi-hat controll is not a strong site of this module either.
I decided to buy used Alesis DM10 for compare and maybe for use instead 750x module.

Totally worth it!!
President Herps 13.03.2022
Because of the price I wasn't expecting a lot but I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived..the quality of the drums was way more than I expected and they feel and look great the only problem I've had is with setting up the hi hats but that was my fault..I've had these drums for around 6 months and everything works great..I would definitely recommend this kit

Good
Stijn from belgium 08.08.2021
Good set for practicing. Good mesh heads, decent size toms and the real hi hat improves playability. Bas drum misses a signal very occasionally.
The module is all you need. Easy to plug in your phone to play along or to plug into a module which you would be needing if you wanted to play gigs as the standard sounds are ok but not great. But I guess you wouldn’t buy this kit for this purpose.
Quality of the all plastic construction is reasonable and good for the price.
All I’m all great kit for practicing.

RM
Great kit , easy to use with DAW.
Roy Mcavoy 26.05.2020
I wanted a kit with mesh heads and free standing hi-hat stand at a reasonable price as I am a beginner drummer.

The kit was easy enough to put together in about an hour. The sounds are ok for practicing. For recording I plug it straight into my mac via USB, and it works directly with my DAW and EZ drummer without any setup, so thats great.
It also has bluetooth so you can play songs on your iPhone and play along on the drum module. Easy to set up, just turn on bluetooth on your phone and accept the module and away you go.
If you install the snare per instructions it can be a bit low if you are tall, but it can be solved by installing the snare beam above the side bar I guess.
Overall a good kit for the money. It plays good enough for a beginner and since I would use EZ drummer to record even if I had an expensive kit, it does not make sense to me unless you are way more advanced to go for a more expensive brand.

Really good e-drums
Sergei619 16.01.2022
Wasn't expecting much but I was really surprised by this kit. It was really easy to build. Quality of the materials and build quality is very good. Adjustability and playabillity are at top level. Pads feel really nice and sturdy, the impact feels very close to the acoustic drums. The technical part is also really good, you can adjust anything from individual pad sounds to note the pad sends to PC. Samples sound really good and variety of kit surprises. PC connection was easy too. I play trough Addictive Drums 2 and it connects perfectly. I'm glad I choose this e-drum kit, can recommend it to anyone.
