Great piece of kit

Got this mixer for a community facility. Many positive comments on the sound quality. The mixer has a really solid feel, the faders feel smooth and the Bluetooth connectivity is very useful for patching in off mobiles. Sound EQs on the first 4 mic channels are more sophisticated than the usual treble mid and bass. Preamp noise is admirably low. The delay feature in FX has proved useful for syncing video and audio.

Sehr gutes Pult für Live und Aufnahmen

Die Verarbeitung des Mischpults ist sehr gut. Stabiles Gehäuse, wertige Potis, Fader und Druckschalter mit Ausnahme der Druckschalter für die SD-Card Aufnahme Einheit und die Effekteinheit, die sind etwas schwammig.
Das Pult klingt wirklich sehr gut, die Mikrophonvorverstärker arbeiten hervorragend. Von den Regelmöglichkeiten ist eigentlich alles da, was man sich wünscht, 2 Monitörwege, 1 Controlroom Kanal getrennt in der Lautstärke regelbar, und auch die Effekt Sektion bietet gute gängige Effekte, die auch noch in einigen Parametern änderbar sind. Mir fehlt höchstens ein Kompressor, aber der lässt sich ja per Insert einschleifen.
Toll, dass alle Kanäle über USB in einer DAW aufnehmbar sind, Software hierfür ist auch dabei. Ein Stereokanal ist bluetoothfähig, so dass man eben mal sein Handy mit dem Pult koppeln kann, sehr praktisch.
Und wer mal schnell ohne Laptop einen Mitschnitt machen will, man hat eine Recordereinheit, die die Stereosumma auf einer SD-Card aufnimmt, auch sehr schön.
Fazit: Ein hochwertiges Pult, dass sich sowohl für Aufnahmen wie auch auf der Bühne und im Proberaum sehr gut verwenden läßt. Der Preis ist angemessen.

Leider kein "Wunderkind"!

Als langjähriger Fan von Mackie-Mixern, wurde ich diesmal enttäuscht und musste das Gerät zurück schicken.
Pro:
1) Gebaut für "die Ewigkeit", sehr robust (wie erwartet)
2) Der Preis ist ein Schnäppchen
3) Live Sound: sauber, transparent
Contra:
1) Für einen Kleinmixer, viel zu groß und sehr schwer
2) Die Line-Eingänge sind NICHT! per Pre-Amp in der Lautstärke regelbar
3) Effekte (Hall) für Gesang unerwartet SCHLECHT!
4) Keine Multitrackaufnahme, auf SD (nur Stereo)
5) Keine Alt 3/4 Ausgänge
6) EQ Einstellungen werden NICHT! In der DAW aufgenommen
7) Nur ein Schieberegler für Stereosumme (L+R)
Obwohl die Idee, von einem USB Audio Interface, Bluetooth Empfänger, SD LiveRecorder/Abspielgerät, internem Hall-Gerät, Klein-Mixer, mit super Sound, in einem Stück sehr verlockend zum Kauf rufen, ist mein persönliches Fazit: Der Mackie Onyx12 Mixer, ist seinen Preis wirklich Wert, LEIDER! Durch den tollen Thomann Service gibt es jedoch ein Happyend. Mackie zurück, Danke!
