I can't believe this guitar costs as little as it does.

Received the guitar last night. And wow!
Firstly, big thanks to Thomann, as aside from needing a tune the guitar came set up correctly out of the box. Action was perfect and no intonation issues whatsoever.
Quality wise, the guitar is superb and the finish is sublime. One very small imperfection on the finish of the neck near between the 11th and 12th fret, but I only noticed it because I was scrutinising the guitar very closely!
It plays beautifully and sounds fantastic. The pickups give a lovely clear, rich sounds. I didn't detect any muddiness in tone at all.
If I had one minor complaint, it would be that the pickup selector switch feels a little bit flimsier than I would like it to be.
However, this is a sub-£100 guitar we're talking about and I don't want to give Thomann thought about raising their frankly excellent prices, but you could pay considerably more than that and still think this guitar was excellent value.
I'm not a gigging musician, so this will be used for recording at home and will be perfect for the job, although if I was still gigging I'd be more than happy to use this guitar on stage.
Bravo Thomann, you've got a very happy customer here and I will definitely be looking at Harley Bentons first the next time I want to add to my collection.

Great beginner guitar, but will need setup first
S4tyr 16.02.2020
I've owned this guitar for a few months now, this being my first guitar, and I am impressed by how much guitar you're getting at this price.

Since the pickups have a high output, my Blackstar Fly 3 practice amp has no issues producing high gain sounds on the overdrive channel. The pickups are cheap, as expected for the price, so don't expect any amazing sound from it. It sounds harsh when playing clean, but sounds okay with high gain distortion.

The hardware on the guitar will need replacing if you are planning on using thicker strings, as I am using 56-13 gauge currently. I've upgraded to locking tuners because the original tuners are not good for anything else but E Standard. I've also changed the bridge to a roller bridge because the original bridge was very difficult to adjust, which now means my guitar's intonation is good now.

If you're not keen on upgrading, at least get the action sorted out. It will make playing this guitar a lot easier.

Once properly set up, it is a great guitar for the price.

A good guitar for it's price.

The guitar came in a double box, it was safely packed with styrofoam. It has got a good tone, perfect for playing punk or metal.

C
Harley Benton rocks.

Please, be put off by the unconventional name and price tag... More guitars for the rest of us ;) .

What hasn't already been said about this guitar? Playable out the box, as expected one of the most playable guitars I've ever owned. I had another HB SG in shell pink (sold cause colour wasn't for me, perfect guitar otherwise). Personal opinion, but better than any Fender I've owned (and I've owned many).

The neck is a bit wide. Not a flaw, just a trait. That Treble/Rhythm label around the switch is flimsy (I don't even care, the actual guitar is too good and makes up for it instantly). The finish is beautiful. Sounds stellar, is a joy to play... What more can you say? I've never owned a guitar this good for so cheap (I've owned 60+ guitars at varying prices). It DESTROYS virtually every other guitar at the same price range.

It's a £90 guitar, that's more like a £300 guitar.

Thank you Thomann for making such cheap and incredible guitars. It does not go unnoticed. <3

Edit: some jack issues came up a few weeks 😲 ! Do I eat my words? No! Still an awesome guitar. Will get it repaired. Still a bargain and the best I could have bought for the money .
