Excellent for children.
Ian D M 05.05.2017
Bought this for my eight-year-old son...so that I can reclaim my own guitar back! As expected, the quality is excellent given the price. The price is just above the price of a toy guitar but what you get is an excellent instrument for children to learn. The satin finish is beautiful, the sound is very good but I think some different strings might be in order. All said and done, my son (and I) love it. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a 3/4 size classical guitar. At this price, I doubt if you could do any better, it's what you would expect from Fender. So glad we chose this...oh, and it comes with a free gig bag too. Extraordinarily well packaged and arrived very quickly. First time to use Thomann and will always use them in the future...they are superb, thank you.

Good Value Guitar
Anonymous 09.10.2015
I have bought this guitar for one of my students, no experience with this guitar before, just bought it after some reviews i have seen in the web and with some musician friends.

Construction:
At this price point i think the finishing and woods in this guitar is very good. No problems ( fret buzzing, dents, intonation, ...) at the arrival. Even now with about a year later the guitar is still in great shape, no problems in stay in tune during lessons.

Sound:
Again, very good sound at this price point, nice warm tone, i do recommend to put some decent nice strings in it, it will improve the overall sound quality. Have done some small presentations with a mic in it and the sound i managed to get from it is pretty good. No complains at all. This is a very good beginner guitar.

Overall Impressions:
My student is happy with the instrument, if stolen he would definitely buy it again.

A very well made instrument with well rounded sound, good intonation and set up. Although intended for the younger player this style of guitar is ideal for adults who are used to steel string acoustics and electric guitars as the nut with of 44mm is the same as many of these full size instruments. Once hooked by this charming little instrument they may well progress to a fully fledged crossover guitar. As supplied the machine heads are firm and stable while the nut is unusually well adjusted offering a very comfotable feel. The only gripe was that it was advertised as having a satin finish but it is in fact high gloss. My full review is on You tube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGlVFujhYAw

Good for beginners for the money...
E H. 18.09.2014
I play guitar professionally & bought this for a 10yr old to learn guitar.
Pros: stable neck, plays great, narrow-ish neck, holds tune, even has truss rod (!) for maintenance, looks nice, Low-cost & great value for money...
Cons: sound is just ok overall though i believe a change of strings will help with this...
This guitar gets all of the important things right, which is especially important for a learner... In fact it's a bit addictive - my daughter has to remind me to hand it back now and again :) I totally recommend this guitar, it comes with a gig bag, has nylon strings that won't put younger kids off playing - what's not to love?!!

Fantastic for Students
Ady martin 21.04.2017
I picked this up for a young student, She made all the other kids jealous by having the Fender name across the headstock! That Aside, the guitar was very well made and nicely set up straight out of the box. It has a really nice tone to it and actually makes a nice practice guitar for anyone, suited to both little hands and adult sausage fingers alike. I'd recommend this to pretty much anyone looking for either a student instrument or a travel guitar.

Fantastic little guitar that has followed me for many years now. Good sound, good quality and just the right size to make it portable but with a full sound.

fender for little people
Martin P. 903 17.06.2013
I play guitar and my daughter, who is now 6, wants to join in. I looked around locally for something suitable and wasn't impressed with what I could find for kids. Low quality instruments are not inspiring for learners.

So I bought this little fender and it's great. It's not fancy, or going to blow you away, but it IS a good quality guitar for younger/smaller hands. It has understated looks, holds up well to some young person abuse and will hold tunings. I'd recommend it as a starter guitar and is a step above the other stuff you can find in abundance out there.

Thanks Thomann for making my daughter happy!

Very good guitar for beginners with short fingers!
Kjell K. 30.12.2013
I bought this guitar for my 12 year old daughter. The 3/4 size of the body fits her very well. It's a good guitar definitely worth its price. The sound of the guitar is good enough and it stays in tune even if not played on for several days.

The best feature with this guitar, however, is the nut width! I found several 3/4 sized guitars here, but I choose this one because of the 44,5 mm nut width. My daughter has quite short fingers and this model was really the perfect one for her! On top of everything it's a Fender. It's her first, but hopefully not last Fender guitar. I can warmly recommend it to others.

Great value for money, a high quality beginners Guitar
Anonymous 08.08.2016
I bought this guitar for my girlfriend to learn on at home, and I have ended up playing a lot myself! She finds it much easier than my full size acoustic and I was really impressed with the delivery time and quality. The finish is superb, it sounds great, looks great, tunes well and is really nice to play. The other reviews on here are very accurate also... apart from one which claimed the finish was actually high gloss and not matte as advertised... mine was totally a satin/matte finish - as advertised. The only criticism I have is the string quality, but these are easily changed.

Buy it beginners, and enjoy!
