The best jazz strings
Thank you to Daddario to make such useful strings for jazz guitar and jazz guitarists or others. The sound is powerful and smooth by the same way under the fingers, i like it so much. The quality is great for this price, not easy to find some also, thank you Thomann for this.

great
I tried most of the flatwounds- keep going back to these. Just a fantastic set of strings. They are not sweet like Thomastik but there is something about them. Thomastik even look like jewelry, while Daddario's are like industrial cables in my opinion... That would somehow apply to the feel of the strings... I mean that in a positive way.

Smooth tones
Pros:
- does what it says on the tin: smooth jazzy tones for days
- love the smooth feel of chrome
- hardly any string noise at all
- can't tune higher than D Standard without exerting too much tension on a neck
- absolutely essential to balancing out a bright instrument
Cons:
- almost unbearable tension; they are 11s but they feel like 13s
If you're like me and you've got a really bright guitar or if you really want smooth warm tones, these strings are amazing. Highly recommended.

Perfect for jazz
Nice touch, my first flatwounded set of strings and very happy with the sound and feel, they are quite thick although it says light, not too bendy, but still great, you are not supposed to bend too much with them anyway, the 3rd is also wounded.
I had a problem and dented the 6th while winding it... it broke :-( there is their weak point, I haven't been playing around with them too much, but seems they won't be very durable if you use a lot of aggressive bending and playing or if your frets aren't properly set and polished, as I said, perfect for jazz style.

Very good
Very good strings for jazz guitar's. I like them more than TI's that I had before. Sound a little bit darker and the tension fits me nicer

I like the strings but as expected with flat-wounds the sound suffers.

New sound for my acoustic
Yep, I got these and slapped them on my acoustic guitar and it sounds brilliant! The flatwounds have a very nice feel, they lack that scratch as you move along the fretboard and I very much enjoy the change in sound character. Very happy, and it seems I'm not going back to the old bronzey ways :D

This is exactly what I needed
I own a Epiphone Broadway archtop guitar. These are the strings I have always wanted but never knew they existed. I am very happy with them.
