Nice case to protect your headphones.
At one point, I realised I was really lucky that my headphones (dt 770 and dt 880) didn't break or bent while constantly carrying them in a backpack or a luggage, so I got this case.
It's fairly hard so I don't have to worry about damaging my headphones anymore when I'm travelling. The headphones fit perfectly and it has a little pocket for jack adapters, which is very useful.

Protection for my DT-770: yeah!
I had a pair of DT-770's before that was destroyed by heavy use, but also by me lugging it around so much. Now that won't happen again because I can protect my precious headset with this case!
Like i read in other reviews: it IS a bit tight, especially where you need to tuck the wire that comes out of the left speaker a bit so as to close the zipper. Therefor not a 5-star at handling, but still, overall, a very good and useful product.

A bit on the small side
Great build quality, but a bit too small.
I'm using this for my DT 770 and DT 880. If the cord would be removable all would be fine, but since it's not I'm afraid this will eventually break the cable connection. The cable has to bend a bit when zipping this thing up.
Already had to solder in a new cable in one pair of DT 770, and it's a pain. If the case would be just a tiny bit bigger I would feel more at ease.
Case feel sturdy, and zipper is great. The little pocket for the adapter is great too. I just expected a better fit since this is an "official" case for the DT series headphones.

Great case
I bought this case for my DT-990 PRO headphones and I'm really satisfied. For the most part the fit quite nice. The only con is that the cable gets a bit squeezed in the part where it connects with the headphones. I feel that the case could have been a little bit wider for that purpose. It is quite possible that the connection between the cable and the headphones is very strong, and I don't have to worry about it, but it would still be great if it would have been a little bit larger.
I love the small pocket that actually velcros to the inside, and you can completely remove it! I keep my 6.3mm adapter in it.

did not have much use for this.
I got this expecting to neatly put headphones away after recording sessions but I found that I never did. I can imagine this would be of most use to someone that travels and records on the go, but less use if you record at home etc. Quality and design are good.

Gets the job done
Use:
Mainly storage and the occasional location recording/stage performing
Pros:
It works; zipper is smooth enough.
Cons:
As other people have commented, the fit is very tight with the cable bending back into the case for storage. But I just it for dust protection, so I can live with that.

If it only it fit...
Bought these headphones while also ordering the beyerdynamic DT 770 pro. Before ordering I checked that this case was comptable (it was) and confirmed the order. While the case is great, sturdy and seemingly perfect for these headphones the attachment to the ear cup where the wire extends sticks out of the case. I could bend it to squeeze it in the case but that defeats the purpose of protecting these amazing and expensive headphones. I wish I could recommend the case as the value seems good but I would urge caution to avoid my mistake.

Chick and Robust
The Dt Hardcase fits all my Beyerdynamic Headphones.
Whenever I need to take a Headphone for an External Job or for working on the Road I finally can secure my Headphone and lock it in the Hardcase.
I don't have anymore the cable stuck between my other equipment.
It was a nice purchase 100%.

It's adequate
It is fitted to form for a number of Beyerdynamic headphones. It also has a handy pocket for minijack - jack adapters.
Apart from that, i find it too expensive for what it is - just a stiff fabric case. It retains its shape, but it is by no means hard like protective plastic. I dont think it would take too well to accidentally sitting on it on a chair.

Perfect!
Not a lot to say about this really other than it does what it is supposed to do. Holds your headphones and protects them. I use the case with 770s/1990s and 880s. I can't guarantee which other headphones it would fit, but it is perfect for the Beyerdynamics I have. I am on the road a lot so the case is spot on. Not a Pelican case like I have for my Audeze LCD-Xs, but it offers enough protection when thrown in your backpack, is durable, well made and light.
