Ultragraph Pro EQ
sammo-san 15.12.2021
i decided to try this as a Master EQ in my setup.
before i say anything else; this is another very reasonably priced product from Behringer that i think most people who get one will find meets their needs. the build quality is good, it's very light and easy to set up.
however, i've decided not to keep it in my setup because, as another reviewer noted; it seems to need quite a lot of gain to get working, and if you don't usually have a 'hot' output (like myself, i keep things fairly low until the very end where i turn it up) you're going to find you need to turn the channel inputs up more-or-less fully to get a decent level, which will definitely add noise to your sound (with nothing going on you'll hear a pretty loud hissing sound, which is absorbed when you've got sound, but it won't be contributing anything good to it).
honestly, though; i'm not willing to write this off as a bad product, it isn't.
my guess is, if you're a live sound guy/girl/unicorn who's dealing mainly with bands you'll find it useful, especially given the Feedback Quantisation feature which i would imagine is handy almost every time..
despite how light it is (and it's *very* light), the usual Behringer build quality applies, which for the price is great. the other choices in this category don't seem to hold any real advantage over the Ultragraph, and for the most part they cost more. even though in the end i'm not going to keep it, i think that's mainly because this type of EQ isn't right for my purposes (i use Bitwig to produce, and it has a choice of four EQ's that fit in with my workflow much better; i wanted to try a physical unit out to see if there were any advantages).
overall though; not a bad investment for the price, particularly if you're on a tight budget.

Once again, Behringer offers an alternative that is unbeatable for the price!
Carnivore 07.09.2020
As the title goes, this unit offers a plethora of features that are unthinkable at this price range. This fact is not new for the brand, but in this case is probably even more obvious. Illuminated sliders are just an example of that.

I use this unit both as the final unit in my guitar rig and for the overall mixes. The sound is reasonable flat when disengaged (neither full flat, as should be, nor coloring the sound in a way that will survive the final mix, for instance) and the features work as they should. Looks good, is super robust for the studio (and I guess reasonable for the road, even when that is not really relevant, since at this price you could just grab another one if something goes wrong, or be proactive and get it as backup from day one!) and looks super nice.

Illuminated sliders are an absolute must, since renders natural to check your curves at a glance without distracting your workflow. You can volume boost, FBQ, check flat/EQ with a press of a button... you get the picture. Few other options offer this range of features, even at four times the price.

Insofar it had been working flawlessly and I am very satisfied with this unit. A+, no question.

Decent little unit.
Steve48 16.02.2023
Happy enough. Decent tone, great looking on my bass rig, a definite bass stack fashion accessory. Could be better, as in a single 31 channel eq would be nice, but near enough for me.

What does this do to your sound?
Mark-studio 30.09.2022
Sure, this thing EQs. But in the least inspiring or confident way. The build is needless to say, something that lacks. If you're fine with this, go ahead. I would otherwise think harder about what you need this unit really for.

D
Ideal EQ for mastering/mixdown at home
David3602 10.01.2017
This unit is well thought out with multiple uses. The inclusion of the feedback elimination system makes it perfect to use with live mixers that don't have them built in.

As a home studio final mix EQ system, it is excellent. It seems noiseless. The physical size of the sliders means it can be tricky to closely set the +/-dB accurately but the range switch helps a lot if you don't need to go outside of +/-6.

This is a rack mount unit, so once you have defined your home studio, you will need rack mounting. I would play around before deciding what else you might include in the rack mount unit, and therefor the size and style of it.

The metal machining is a little rough if you don't rack mount . . .
