More than an offset arm

The obvious use for this arm is to offset a heavy light source on a junior stand, so that you can get "under" it. I'm a photographer and use large parabolic reflectors. This arm is sturdy as can be and allows you to get your shot right under the light modifier without having to shoot "around" the light stand. One mode of use that may not be so obvious is as a swivel arm, i.e. for a tethering platform, wind machine, tablet or other session equipment. Mount it to a low junior stand, such as the Avenger A5012, and you've got yourself a perfect monitor platform.
