good bow unbelievable value
Davy1138 18.08.2014
This is one of the best bows I have used - I had the pleasure of playing with Pete Clarke, the Scottish traditional player of the year .. He has had many TV appearances and recorded many top selling cd s. We swapped bows at the interval. At the end of the night he insisted on buying this bow off me there and then , as he thought it was great !! Now - This is a guy who played the composer - Nial Gow's, 200 year old fiddle for the BBC national trust documentary at Blair Athol castle in Scotland . If it's good enough for him it's good enough for YOU :-) I've just orderred a replacement !

Very nice Bow!

I didn't have much experience with variety of bows but definitely the feeling of this one is great, solid but light in weight and the hair is well fitted and resistant, it also has a good feeling for any purpose (practicing, playing live, etc)

I also tried to use this bow to record experimental sounds different from classical string instruments, I was using it to capture samples from cristal glasses, plates and bowls and this is the best bow to do this type of things, besides being very solid it is light enough to apply more pressure (because of the use of other sound sources) and you are comfortable with more extra decibels and very low to no risk of damage.

I also play with a professional violinist for specific projects and he tried the bow and confirm that indeed the composite bow was better than the one he has and brought his electric violin from factory, he actually decided to have one for him and to play live he definitely uses this bow instead of the original one of the violin.

I also tried this bow with even humid sources like plant leaves and similar natural surfaces and it endures, no damage and keeps being robust and light.

Very nice bow for any type of player, beginners or professionals.

Great for the price

I'm a beginner and very happy with this one. Replaced a violin kit bow with it and glad I did. Accurate bow with good balance. There sure are better bows but this one works great for me within my budget.
