Great way to clean up home studios, highly recommended.
Alice G 25.03.2021
This power conditioner rackmount is perfect for setting up a rack with multiple modules and other sound devices and cleaning up the cable management mess that would usually come with these kinds of setups.

I use this for connecting my sound modules and even my PC and speakers in order to make sure there's good protection against electrical surges and to protect these modules from having electrical noise in their audio signal.

There's a certain convenience in having one switch on the front to turn everything on and off so you don't have to worry too much about turning off a power strip somewhere all the way below your desk.

This rackmount unit is actually not too heavy and screws into most racks easily, though it doesn't come with screws included.

If you've got more than ten devices you need to connect to a secure power network, maybe there are other options from Furman.
I'm sure more than one of these units could still work well, I just have no personal experience with that.

Overall, this is a very good deal for the price if you're just starting out as a home musician or just want to secure your devices from sudden power surges.

One small warning: depending on the type of device you wish to connect, finding the correct power cable to fit with it in stock MAY be difficult. Far from impossible, it may just be a bit of a frustrating search initially.

Don't Fight The Power
AlexSaint 23.12.2020
I wanted one of these for three reasons:

1. I wanted to supply power to the units in my rack case without a tangle of cables or .
2. I wanted to minimise/eliminate any mains noise and hum.
3. It looks cool and professional.

If you want to power multiple valve power amps, you'll need something higher up the range, but if you've ever played in a club with crappy, buzzy mains power, these are great.

Mine powers my AxeFX III, Helix Rack and a Scarlett 18i20 with just one power cable to the case. The switch on the case means I can turn everything on and off easily. Fewer cables running back and forth makes things safer, neater and (arguably) sound better. There's even a socket on the front if you need one.

There are models with added lights, bells and whistles, but if you don't need the extras, this does just fine.

A reliable and robust product
Anonymous 25.04.2016
I'm using the Furman M-10x E in my rack stage set up rig, in my hybrid (analog-digital) recording studio rig and in several clubs DJ booths set up. I had this noise in my studio monitors when tracking or sometimes when mixing in a club and never knew where it came from. I introduced it in my set up and the problem was solved immediately.

I used to pack a big box full of power sockets and many other adapters to different live shows and venues before I came upon this product.
Now the Furman M-10x E is installed in my 19'' rack and did solved all that hustle of the cable cluster. It surely looks great in any 19'' rack rig, its robust and just blend perfectly in with other equipment.

The 10x rear connections are great but an additional power on and off switch buttons for each of the ten connections would have been even more helpfull because there's a lot of equipment out there without any on and off switches.
The moment you switch the Furman M-10x E on, you can't controll the powerflow anymore to all switches because all connections are obviously powered. The other point is also that, when the Furman M- 10x E is switched on, you can't plug any equipment or remove it because of the fear that you might burn some of your precious equipment. I am using it on a daily basis professionally for almost two years now and never had any dissapointment. Great product!

Simple but essential
Th_Sch 16.10.2017
A power conditioner may not be the sexiest piece of analog gear, but it definitely is an essential one that is worth the small investment. Just imagine your house/studio being hit with a lightning strike and ruining thousands of euros worth of gear... Luckily there's the Furman M-10x E to prevent this nightmare for you.

I use it as the main power point for pretty much everything in my studio: my rack, soundsystem and synths. I used to plug the power plug of my modular synth straight into the wall outlet, but this often lead to an instable power supply and my eurorack going nuts. Once I plugged it into the Furman things instantly became stable.

Above all it's as easy as 1, 2, 3. Get yourself some power adapter cables, screw the unit in your rack; plug in your gear, connect the Furman to your power supply and you're good to go.
